They have a number of their own sustainability initiatives they are trying to achieve. But, as a private equity-backed company, they also have to take into account the initiatives of their key stakeholders.
The Challenge
The client found itself under pressure to start reporting all Scope 3 emissions to the private equity firm that supports them. This task fell on a sustainability generalist in the company—who was responsible for all of their sustainability reporting.
The client were previously not reporting business travel emissions and, without a Travel Management Company (TMC) or Online Booking Tool (OBT), this was set up to be a very time-consuming task.
