Introducing our newest Thrust Calculator feature: Climate Compliance Checklists! This innovative new feature offers tooling and guidance for organizations needing to comply with global sustainability regulations.

Regulatory pressure is rising across many jurisdictions, and to maintain a fully compliant travel program, you need to understand the impact of these regulations on your business. Our climate and policy experts have built a step-by-step guide straight into our solutions to ensure your compliance with incoming global regulations—starting with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

What is CSRD?

CSRD is the most high-profile and demanding of the new climate regulations, and for many organizations it requires action from 2024. It focuses on expanding sustainability reporting where companies must report on Scopes 1,2, and 3 emissions annually, including business travel as part of Scope 3 emissions. All emissions must be reported in full, including supplier data, with any offsets listed separately. Other key requirements include disclosing long-term emissions targets, aligning plans with a 1.5°C net-zero scenario, and reporting on your progress towards these goals.

How does it work?

The core functionality of this feature is to make it simple for companies to become climate compliant. The Checklist outlines the key tasks that must be completed to comply with CSRD requirements and ensures organizations are aware of necessary procedures, such as compiling sustainability data, adhering to ESG standards, preparing compliant reports, and meeting submission deadlines.

Now available as part of Thrust Calculator, here’s a sneak peak of what it looks like…

Looking to the future

As more regulations come into effect globally (e.g. California’s Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act) and clarity over reporting requirements improve (e.g. The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive), we will be expanding our Compliance Checklist to include any other relevant regulations.
